Current Disney World parking prices
Disney currently lists standard parking for a car or motorcycle at $35 per day. Preferred parking is $50, $55 or $60 depending on the date, and oversized vehicles are $40 per day. Disney states that the paid parking pass is valid for all four theme parks for that day.
Who gets standard parking included
Registered Disney Resort hotel guests and select Annual Passholders receive standard theme-park parking without an additional charge. They can upgrade to preferred parking by paying the difference between the included standard rate and the preferred rate.
Magic Kingdom parking is different
When you drive to Magic Kingdom, you do not park at the park entrance. Parking feeds into the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you continue to Magic Kingdom by monorail or ferry. That extra transfer makes driving to Magic Kingdom feel different from driving to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom.
Preferred parking mainly buys walking distance
Preferred parking places you closer to the park entrance or transportation connection. It does not create a separate security line or admission lane. The value is mostly reduced walking, which can matter on a long day, with small children, mobility concerns or late-night fatigue.
Your parking pass works across parks, but capacity still matters
Disney says one theme-park parking fee is good all day at all four parks. However, parking fees are nonrefundable and do not guarantee availability if you leave and return or move to another park. On very busy days, treat re-entry as a practical risk rather than a contractual guarantee.
Use Car Locator before you walk away
The My Disney Experience app includes Car Locator at select Disney parking locations. Save the location when you arrive, not when you are tired after fireworks. A screenshot of the row and section is a useful backup if location services fail or your phone battery dies.
Trams are back at all four theme parks
Disney operates courtesy parking-lot trams at all four parks. At Magic Kingdom, the tram takes you to the Transportation and Ticket Center rather than the park gate. If you are parked close enough to walk comfortably, walking can sometimes be faster than waiting to load a tram.
When driving beats Disney transportation
Driving is especially useful when you want predictable departure control, are moving between off-site lodging and parks, or have gear that is easier to leave in a car. Disney transportation can be easier when the route is direct, parking is included but the transfer is cumbersome, or no one in the group wants to drive after a long day.
