Weather conditions can change quickly. Follow National Weather Service alerts and Disney Cast Member instructions when safety or attraction operations are affected.

Use the next 12 hours instead of a generic daily forecast

A park day is affected by when weather arrives. Hour-by-hour temperature and rain probability are more useful than a single daily high or rain icon.

Active alerts outrank the itinerary

If the National Weather Service has an active warning or advisory for the Walt Disney World point, treat that as operational information rather than a planning preference.

Move outdoor priorities before the hardest weather

When the afternoon looks hotter or wetter, use the cooler or drier window for outdoor attractions, animal trails and long walks. Save indoor shows, meals and shopping for the worse part of the forecast.

Sunset changes the feel of the park

Sunrise, sunset and civil twilight help you plan photography, nighttime atmosphere and how much natural light remains after dinner.

Forecasts change

Refresh the tool during the day. The National Weather Service updates its forecast as new information arrives, and a morning plan should not be treated as permanent.

Official sources, Park Day Lab interpretation

Forecasts and alerts come from the National Weather Service. Sunrise, sunset and twilight are calculated by the U.S. Naval Observatory. Park Day Lab adds the park-day planning advice.
