Pick your version of EPCOT
A ride-heavy morning and a food-and-World-Showcase day are both valid. Trying to maximize both at once usually creates too much walking.
Respect the size of the park
EPCOT is expansive. Stay in one area long enough to make the walk worthwhile before moving on.
Use indoor attractions as recovery
Long indoor experiences are not filler. They are useful breaks from heat, walking and crowds.
Do not overschedule food
A few flexible stops can work better than stacking multiple reservations into one day.
Save appetite for what matters
If festival food or World Showcase dining is important, avoid filling the day with random snacks before you reach those areas.
Plan the evening on purpose
World Showcase and nighttime atmosphere are a different experience later in the day. Preserve energy if that matters to you.
Expect to skip something
EPCOT is difficult to fully cover in one day. Skipping lower-priority experiences is part of a successful plan.
Use the app to make decisions, not create them
Check wait times when you need to choose between good options, then keep moving.
