Current theme-park locker sizes and prices
Disney currently lists small lockers at 12 by 10 by 17 inches for $10 per day and large lockers at 15.5 by 13 by 17 inches for $12 per day. Magic Kingdom and EPCOT also offer jumbo lockers at 17 by 22 by 26 inches for $15 per day.
The rental is for the day
Disney describes the theme-park lockers as keyless lockers available for a one-time daily charge. They are first come, first served. If you know you need one on a high-attendance day, rent it early rather than assuming the largest size will still be available later.
What belongs in a locker
Good candidates are items you may need once or twice: a change of clothes, heavier rain gear, merchandise you do not want to carry, or layers for later in the evening. Keep sunscreen, water, medication, phone batteries and anything needed frequently with you.
Do not use a locker as your daily base camp
The lockers are generally near park entrances. Repeatedly walking back to retrieve small items can erase the convenience. Pack your day bag for the next several hours and use the locker for bulky or low-frequency items.
How to pay
Disney says cash and major credit cards can be used directly at the self-service kiosk. If paying with a MagicBand, MagicBand+ or Disney gift card, visit the merchandise location nearest the lockers for assistance and a code for the kiosk.
Water-park lockers use different sizing
Disney water parks also offer lockers, but sizes and prices differ from the theme parks. Check the current locker page if you are planning Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach rather than assuming the theme-park dimensions apply.
The packing-list connection
A locker does not fix overpacking. If an item will not realistically be used during the park day, leave it at the hotel. The best locker strategy is to offload one or two bulky items, not carry a suitcase to the park and store it.
