Current Disney stroller rental prices
Disney currently lists single strollers at $15 per day or $13 per day with a length-of-stay rental. Double strollers are $31 per day or $27 per day with a length-of-stay rental. Pricing can change, so confirm before your trip if the rental cost affects your decision.
The biggest limitation: Disney rentals stay in the park
A Disney rental cannot be removed from the theme park. If you park hop, return the stroller and show your receipt at the next park to receive another one, subject to availability. That means the child still has to walk or be carried through parking lots, resort transportation and hotel corridors.
The stroller size rule
Disney property rules currently prohibit strollers larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long. Stroller wagons are prohibited in the theme parks and water parks. Measure your stroller at its widest and longest points before traveling rather than relying on a model description.
When bringing your own is better
Bring your own stroller when your child will need it before park entry, after park exit or around the resort. A familiar stroller is also usually better for naps, storage and weather protection. The tradeoff is folding it for some transportation and managing it in crowded areas.
When renting is better
Renting inside Disney works well when the stroller is only needed for long park walking and you do not want to travel with one. It also removes the risk of airline damage. The tradeoff is less comfort, less customization and no stroller outside the gates.
A third-party rental solves a different problem
Disney identifies ScooterBug as its featured mobility provider. For Disney Resort hotel guests using ScooterBug, Disney says the guest does not need to be present for delivery or return. Other third-party companies may require you to meet the vendor, so confirm the handoff process before booking.
Stroller parking is movable, not permanent
Cast Members regularly reorganize stroller parking to keep walkways clear. If your stroller is missing from the exact spot where you left it, check the surrounding stroller area before assuming it is gone. A bright but simple visual marker can make it much easier to find in a large row.
The Park Day Lab rule for older kids
Do not make the stroller decision based only on whether a child uses one at home. A Disney day can involve many miles of walking, heat and late nights. If renting a stroller prevents a meltdown or lets the group stay together, it can be a practical tool rather than a statement about age.
