What should you take?

Choose your Disney Resort and where you are going.

Transportation can change for weather, refurbishment or operational reasons. Confirm current routing in My Disney Experience before departure.

Prefer the direct mode when one exists

A direct Skyliner, monorail or boat connection often removes the uncertainty of transferring. If your resort has one to the destination you want, start there.

Bus is the universal fallback

Disney bus transportation connects Resort hotels with the theme parks and other major destinations. It is often the simplest option when no rail, gondola or boat route applies.

Skyliner is especially valuable for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios

Disney lists Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach and Riviera among the resorts served by Disney Skyliner, which also connects to EPCOT International Gateway and Hollywood Studios.

Monorail is strongest around Magic Kingdom

The Resort Monorail serves Contemporary, Grand Floridian and Polynesian along with Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center. EPCOT requires the TTC connection.

Boat routes are useful but destination-specific

Disney publishes water-transportation routes from several Magic Kingdom-area and EPCOT-area resorts. Treat boats as direct when Disney lists the route, not as a universal resort-to-resort solution.

Check the app for real-time route details

Disney recommends using My Disney Experience for current route and stop information. This tool helps choose the likely best mode; the app remains the live operational source.
