This is airport weather context, not flight status. Check your airline for your flight and FAA airport status for general delays.

What METAR tells you

METAR is the standardized airport weather observation. It commonly includes wind, visibility, present weather, cloud conditions, temperature and pressure.

What TAF tells you

TAF is the terminal forecast for weather significant to aviation near the airport. Major U.S. airport forecasts can extend roughly 24 to 30 hours and are updated through the day.

Airport weather is not a flight delay prediction

Thunderstorms, low visibility or strong winds can affect operations, but weather data alone does not tell you whether your specific flight will be delayed.

Check the airline for your flight

For a specific arrival or departure, use your airline's app or website. The FAA airport-status page provides general airport conditions but is not flight-specific.

Use park weather separately

Aviation weather is centered on MCO. Park Day Lab's Disney weather tool is centered on Walt Disney World and is better for deciding what to do inside the parks.

Federal source

The Aviation Weather Center Data API is an official National Weather Service/FAA aviation-weather service with machine-readable METAR and TAF products.
